SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT

At Aquatic Discovery Scuba, our top priority is safety. We strongly believe in implementing risk management strategies to minimize the likelihood of any injuries or accidents during your diving experience. By adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring that all equipment is in excellent condition, we strive to provide you with the best possible dive experience. Our team of experienced instructors and guides are trained in emergency response techniques, ensuring that you are in capable hands at all times. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, we are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. With us, you can dive with confidence, knowing that your safety is our utmost concern.

We have partnered with DAN for our insurance, this lets us get every open water student free DAN insurance during their Open Water Program.

We have completed multiple DAN Risk Management programs. Our Dive Masters and Dive Master Trainees take these same courses. We start the Risk Management Programs at the Rescue Diver Level.

We have also completed the Risk Management Program from the Scuba Guru Academy, and again, this program is also a request for our Dive Masters Dive Master Trainees and Rescue Divers.

All our dive excursions, whether it is to a lake or ocean, will have Emergency Oxygen and First Aid kits on site. All of our staff, is trained in CPR and First Aid, with some experienced EMTs and Paramedics as well.

Our time also partakes in quarterly Emergency training scenario days and when possible these also incorporate local EMS personal.
