Program Cost Break Down
We have made quality of our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day.
In our Basic Open Water Program and the Junior Open Water Program we have built a program that will help you become a Scuba Diver not just someone holding a "Certification Card" The costs of our program break down into four different categories. They are eLearning, Pool time, Open Water Time, and Equipment. An added benefit to our Basic Open Water Program is all students are enrolled in DAN diving insurance for the duration of their program
eLearning:
Your cost for the eLearning content is: $500
What does this cover? Your basic Open Water eLearning, Enriched Air (Nitrox) eLearning, PADI Aware Program, and the Dive Table Program from the Scuba Guru
Pool Time:
Pool time is based off of $60 per hour with a minimum of 6 hours. (Majority of the pool time cost is for rental of an indoor heated pool space) cost of $360
Ocean / Lake Time:
For the Basic Program you will be required to complete a minimum of 4 Open Water dives of at least 15 minutes each. We charge $75 per open water training dive for minimum $300
Equipment:
We do not provide equipment for this program. However we can help you purchase from HOG scuba, or if you wish to purchase Mask Fins Snorkel Gloves Booties and Hood. We can recommend a local shop to rent the rest of your equipment from.
Total Cost:
The basic cost of our program is $1160, which includes quality training in a small semi-private setting. This price does not include the purchase or rental of equipment. If you are looking for a more adventurous experience, we also recommend checking out the pricing for our cozumel scuba program. It may be an option that you would enjoy.
